As early as 1940, graduate chapters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated recognized the value of engaging women who, for various reasons, were not members of any Greek-letter organization. Under the visionary leadership of Lullelia Walker Harrison, the 12th International President, Zeta made history by organizing the first Amicae auxiliary in Omaha, Nebraska in 1948—becoming the first sorority within the National Pan-Hellenic Council to establish an official auxiliary group.

The Zeta Amicae of Monroe, Louisiana proudly carry on this tradition of sisterhood, service, and community engagement. They are always eager to welcome women who support the mission and values of Zeta Phi Beta. Friends and relatives of Zeta members who have not completed a college degree are especially encouraged to consider joining this vibrant and impactful auxiliary.
