Since its founding in 1920, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has upheld a strong tradition of serving communities and humanity at large. Continuing this enduring commitment, Zeta has implemented a national service initiative tailored for the 21st century—one that directly addresses the pressing issues faced by African Americans and International Women of Color.

Z-HOPE: Zetas Helping Other People Excel (Through Mind, Body, and Spirit) is a comprehensive and multidimensional outreach initiative. This program focuses on five key demographic groups—women, youth, men, seniors, and international women of color—employing a lifespan approach that spans from prenatal care to senior support.

Among the various service efforts under the Z-HOPE umbrella are initiatives in Mental Health, Autism awareness, Elder Care, Adopt-a-School, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Military Appreciation Week, MLK Day of Global Service, Zetas Have Heart, the March of Dimes, and Breast Cancer Programs supported by the American Cancer Society.
