Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated supports Autism Awareness as part of its commitment to health and community advocacy. The initiative aims to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and provide support for individuals and families affected by autism. Through educational outreach, community events, and partnerships with local organizations, Zeta chapters across the country work to foster understanding and acceptance of those with autism and other developmental differences.

The Epsilon Omicron Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has demonstrated a strong and ongoing commitment to Autism Awareness through active volunteerism, advocacy, and community engagement. In 2024, the chapter was proudly recognized as the 2nd largest organization to register for the 4th Annual Autism Acceptance Festival, and notably stood out as the only organization to walk, fundraise, and volunteer—earning well-deserved recognition for setting and meeting its pledge goal for the North Louisiana Autism Society. Continuing this impactful work, the chapter also participated in the WAG’S Walk Around the Block for Autism & Community Expo on April 5, 2025, in Monroe, Louisiana. Held at the Northeast Louisiana State Office Building, this vibrant event brought the community together in celebration and solidarity during Autism Awareness Month. With a 5K and 1-Mile Fun Walk/Run, the day was filled with connection, education, and heartfelt support for children and adults with disabilities, special abilities, and special needs. Epsilon Omicron Zeta was honored to walk alongside families, friends, local organizations, and community stakeholders—championing inclusion, awareness, and compassion every step of the way.
