Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated has maintained a powerful partnership with the March of Dimes for over 50 years, supporting efforts to improve maternal and infant health, reduce premature births, and raise awareness about disparities affecting Black mothers and babies. Through advocacy, education, and fundraising, Zeta chapters across the country help advance research and provide resources to families in need. The Epsilon Omicron Zeta Chapter proudly supports this initiative by participating in annual fundraising efforts and hosting community-based programs that promote healthier outcomes for mothers and babies. The chapter has partnered with Olive Branch Baptist Church to host a Community Baby Showers focused on raising awareness about the Black Maternal Health Momnibus Act and the alarming disparities in maternal health among Black women.Expectant mothers are honored and gifted baskets filled with essentials like diapers, wipes, onesies, and socks—reinforcing the chapter’s commitment to uplifting women and promoting healthy moms and babies in Northeastern Louisiana.
